Feel the
Joy of Dancing

Growing the Dance Community to share the Joy of Dancing.

We like to teach people to dance – not just the steps. We encourage Leaders and Followers to understand their role in this dynamic artform. Music is all around us and dance is an extension of all the positive feelings. We love all styles of dancing, square dancing, ballroom dancing, beach shag dancing and line dancing. Right now we teach Ballroom and Line Dancing. We hope to grow our dance community and offer more opportunities to Dance both classes and open parties. Dance has provided us with friendships, fitness and confidence that can last all through a lifetime.

About us

Joan Green
started her love of dancing as young girl with tap, jazz and ballet lessons for over 15 years. She was excited to continue dancing through Ballroom lessons. Ballroom lessons started when George first met Joan and stated that he always wanted to learn to do the Tango. They (George & Joan) moved to this area from Richmond Virginia where they took Ballroom lessons for over 15 years. Joan also participated in the Bronze DVIDA Teacher Training Program for 3 years. Joan has retired from a career in Accounting and is now doing what she loves!

George Green
has learned to do the Tango as he suggested in his pickup line 16 years ago. After working as an Actuary for 25 years, George switched careers and is now a High School Math Teacher. “Our Job as Leaders is to make our partner look wonderful.”

Testimonials

Fun time line dancing at the beach on Thursday evening. Joan is an excellent instructor. She is patient with newcomers and engages experienced dancers.
